What the filler has to do
A filler is never neutral in a formulation. Each of these industries loads our minerals for a different reason — opacity, abrasion resistance, impact strength, rheology, cost. The grade follows the function.
Thermoplastic road marking
Filler makes up the majority of a hot-melt marking compound. Grade choice controls melt flow in the kettle, bead embedment and how long the line survives traffic. We supply dolomite–quartz packages with controlled coarse fraction and very low moisture so the kettle does not foam.

Paints & coatings
As an extender, our coated dolomite and high-brightness calcite carry pigment volume concentration at controlled oil absorption, holding hiding power while reducing titanium dioxide demand in emulsions, primers and enamels.

PVC pipes & profiles
Stearic-acid coated grades disperse without agglomeration, improve extrusion output and lift impact strength in rigid formulations. Moisture and top cut are held tight to protect surface finish.

Masterbatch & filled polymer
Filler masterbatch runs at 70–80% mineral load, so top cut and coating uniformity decide whether the compound processes cleanly. We supply narrow-distribution 2 micron coated grades with lot-level d50 and d97 reporting.

Rubber
Non-black fillers for moulded and extruded goods, mats and footwear. Free-flowing coated dolomite substitutes precipitated grades at a lower cost per part without disturbing the cure profile.

Adhesives & sealants
Fillers set the body and sag resistance of polyurethane, acrylic and bitumen sealants. Low moisture and controlled pH matter more than fineness alone; both are certified per lot.

Putty & wall care
Wall putty is bought on whiteness and spread. Our dolomite–calcite blends deliver brightness in the low nineties with predictable water demand, so the applicator's coverage per bag stays stable.

Paper
Ground calcium carbonate as filler and coating pigment, improving opacity and printability while displacing fibre. Supplied with brightness and abrasion figures for machine clothing life.

Ceramics & sanitaryware
Iron-controlled quartz and dolomite as body and flux inputs for tiles and sanitaryware, screened to the size band the body preparation plant runs.

Glass — container & float
Glass batch quality is decided by iron. We supply washed, low-iron silica sand and sized quartz with Fe₂O₃ held under 0.03%, along with dolomite as the magnesia source in the batch.

Ceramic glaze & frit
Glaze and frit demand tighter purity than body inputs — colour and gloss show every contaminant. Micronised high-purity quartz and low-iron dolomite are supplied against a fixed chemistry window.

Silica ramming mass
Quartzite-based ramming mass for induction furnace linings, supplied as a graded size package with controlled fines so the lining sinters uniformly and lasts more heats.

Foundry & ingot casting

Detergents & soaps
Ground calcite and dolomite act as bulk filler and mild abrasive in detergent powder and cleaning bars, where whiteness and consistent bulk density decide how the finished pack looks and fills.

Engineered quartz surfaces
Slab quality depends on grain packing and iron content. We supply sized quartz grain and filler powder as a matched package so the resin demand and the finished slab colour stay consistent batch to batch.
